WAR 4 - Defense test
No change in attack strategy since War 2. Seems to be working well though some of you (You know who you are) Still fail to take out heroes and CC first. THIS IS A MUST!
This war focus on Defense, get you CC in the middle near your TH. Click on it and make sure nobody can activate it before breaking the 1st wall if at all possible. Mines not perfect, but you get the idea.
Base design is also key. Check out a few good ones I have used in the past. There is no shame in "borrowing" someone's effective base.
Tesla Theme park - My Fav TH8 base.
This is another one, I always had trouble with these with Giants.
Now for those who get Hog'd then this is a great layout for them.. 2 Double Giant bomb areas will take them out.

War # 2
Hi All,
Our 2nd War is upon us. Moving forward we will have 2 wars a week. 1st War will start Monday @ 11pm GMT, 7AM PST (Tuesday) 2nd War will be Thursday 11pm GMT.
Thursday War is clan Mandatory, meaning all need to take part unless on Vacation/Holiday (Just let someone in the clan know you are away)
War Toops - War Castle is used for Defense only, you use your regular troops for attack.
Going forward. Only donate the following L5+ Wizards, L3+ Dragons.
L5+ Minions and L6+ Balloons are ok for those requesting Ariel support. Please update your request in War for the next one. Donators please read the requests and donate air when asked for. L5+6 Archers can be used to fill out castles (E.g 1 spot left)
Attack Strategy - If possible bottom 20 people in the clan (Base strength determined by the war map) use both attacks ASAP. Pick a target that has not been 2 stared that you can get at LEAST 2 stars on.
Next 15 then attack, pick a mid level base you think you can take with your first attack, then with your 2nd attack one of the lower ones the bottom 20 did not 2-3 star.
Top 10 then pick up whats left.
Now timing can be an issue for some (It will be for me this war :) ), so if you can't wait because you have other plans, just default to the highest base you can 2-3 Star.
TAKE OUT CLAN TROOPS FIRST, cannot stress the importance of this. Use Archers/Barbs to lure out both heroes and clan troops outside the range of the defense, then surround with archers, barbs, wizards, minions whatever you carry. Use 30% of your troops if you need to. If you fail to do this you will lose...
TAKE YOUR BEST TROOPS INTO BATTLE - Don't bring goblins or your farming army. Develop attack skills over time. If you are not sure ASK! Leaders and Elders will be on to help.
Lets bring home the loot and win # 2 ENGLAND MK2!!

Clan Wars is Comming
Fellow Clan Members, War is upon us.DO NOT DONATE WAR TROOPS UNLESS ASKED.
ATTACK THE WEAKEST BASE YOU SEE @ 0 OR 1 STARS

We need to be very strategic on which bases we can attack as we only get to fight twice per war.

Make sure you all read the FAQ's to be knowledgeable about how it works.
Everyone outside the top 10 in the 1st 12 hours needs to attack there opposite number. On the battle map, TH are ordered by battle rank. E.g. I have the 5th highest base, so I will attack the 5th highest in there clan. Look and count its not hard. Don't attack twice unless you are in the bottom 10 and you don't 3 star your base. (*Edit I have made it easier and now just look at the speadsheet!*)
Leaders/Co-Leaders will be assigning everyone 2nd targets. Please check the blog before you attack, or with a Leader/Co-Leader. This will show your Primary/Secondary Targets and also backup targets if they have already been 3 starred.
We only get the bonus loot if we win the war. So being organized is the key as my guess is most clans will be disorganized.
Prep Day will start approx 6pm April 10th PST / 4am April 11th GMT (Depending on how long the matchmaking process takes)
War then lasts 24 hours after that. It's critical each person attacks bases of equal skill level to give us the chance of highest total stars.
NEVER attack a base that has already been 3 starred.
Regular clan troops are used for attack, enter your request as WAR ATTACK - Then level requests are allowed, nobody should be going to a war battle with. L3 Archers, so if you have low level troops hang back for these requests.
I'll try and get an attack list up ASAP tonight to give you the most time to prepare.
